For a timshare resort, there were no organized activities the 4/14 week we stayed. However, the pool and hottub were clean. I noticed unlike other places, that the supervision of the pool was frequent, even publicly updating temperature/Ph/Time checked. The maid service in the room was fine (check bugs behind window sill that come in) but the hallway carpets need a vacuum more than once a week.
Altho there is no 'restaurant' (countless right outside on the boardwalk tho') - the continental breakfast was well looked after by Archie. Nice selection and clean. The windows on the roof of pool could use a washing (hard to see out - just cause it's off-season) and the awning on the outside needs an updating. Of the 4 video games, only 2 were on/working. Gym was small, however, the equipment was high quality.
Overall -> great. Would return- love Virginia Beach. Just some marketing advice: how does this resort differ to the many others on the boardwalk? Keep the property updated so it doesn't look 'tired'. TVs could be updated. Add more/convenient outlets for adapters (had to unplug tv, lights and switch off to charge multiple PDAs). Recognize the nice staff as they work hard and smile/make guests feel welcome.
