“Typical Ocean-side fare”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Virginia Beach at the end of Sept is in a fairly sleepy mode with the fall/winter season on them and many of the tourists gone. We were staying at the resort literally aross the street, it was early evening and we were hungry. We were seated promptly and served drinks, they do offer beer/wine, mixed drinks and soft drinks. The server was wonderful and accomodating, very good at explaining the menu, making recommendations, and attentive throughout the meal. The food was ok, only ok, my husband had the baked spaghetti with meatballs, it was a large serving, I had the buffalo wings-a 1 lb serving of 7-11 wings-with ranch dressing. The cost was reasonable at $24 for all.

“Worth the Visit!”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

We actually ate here 3 times in one week! Service was good, food was really good, and prices even better! They are in the coupon book for $2.00 off a pizza which we used everytime. Got three different pizzas and they were all really good! Great place if you are on a budget!

“Solid value, open late.”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

We visited the 33rd Street location, because it was near our hotel and still open at 11:00 p.m. Started with the Mozzarella cheese sticks, crisp and not greasy, but the dipping sauce was bland, no noticeable herbs or spices. The New York style pizza came out much better, yeasty crust, plenty of sauce and pepperoni, and absolutely loaded with cheese – no need for extra, although several types of cheese are available on the menu. The 12-inch size was more than enough for the two of us, we had some left over. Service was fast, and checked back often. Atmosphere is okay, a little worn around the edges but clean, sufficient room between tables. Odd little bar, with a TV mounted on the grass roof, so you can’t actually watch it while sitting at the bar. Prices are as good as any place along the beach, so I’d recommend it for feeding the family.

“Good pizza, Expensive wine.”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

Very good meat lovers (Iforgot what they called it) pizza! Great service and clean restuarant, but that $5 btl of wine I passed up at the local Farm Fresh grocery store was $20(!) at Dough Boys. Lol, talk about captured market. Get your coupon for $2 off from your local hotel and get your wine at the grocery store, but def get your pizza here!

“Poor staff, OK food.”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

The place was kinda empty we got there and still took about 10 mins to get us water.
Ordered chicken wings as appetizer. The waitress looked pissed off that we were still looking at the menu and unsure which pizza to choose. Wings came in deep fried... not our thing at all, but that's just our taste. Finally decided to order the Greek pizza. As we wanted refills of our drinks, the waitress was sitting at another table chatting with other employees and didn't bother checking on us at all. She finally came and dropped the pizza on the table without saying a word and left. Had to call her back for our refills.
The pizza was very good, would have loved more gyro on it but it still was good. We got the check before we were even done with the pizza, I guess they decided for us that we wouldn't take anything else.

It ended up not too expensive but only because of the service, I would take out or try somewhere else.
