When you walk into their doors, you feel calm. I have had a few alternative therapies here for chronic illness. They treat the whole person- not just disease. Their approach is so refreshing in this era of pills and chemicals. This facility serves such an important purpose in Virginia Beach. I hope they are here forever.

Being at Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. is living Life the way it is supposed to be lived: in an atmosphere of love, peace and inspiration. From the ambiance to the facilities, this place is made for those on the spiritual path. The blending of Cayce's psychic abilities with deeper spiritual meaning demonstrates the essential connection between Science and Religion and shows the world that healing and wholeness are the true goals of society.

This is a must see if you are into holistic health or want to be. The A.R.E.'s spa is excellent with a wide range of massage and other healing modalities. The conference center has interesting weekend events nearly every week of the year, and the bookstore is a place you'll find unusual books and gifts. The A.R.E. library is purported to be one of the largest metaphysical libraries in the world. And before your leave, walk the labyrinth, visit the koi pond, and just enjoy.

unless you are doing research, this was only a gift shop with a few displays. Not worth the time to stop here. Not what I expected.

Any and all questions can be answered at the ARE. You have to go there to feel the energy and visit the gift shop - their book selections are outstanding.
