The room was very clean and had a great view of the beach. Room service came daily and neatly organized everything. I felt comfortable staying in this hotel with my 1 year old daughter. Every morning we went for breakfast and we were greeted by the nicest people! We all enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this hotel.

We decided to come to VA beach to extend our summer a little bit, and stayed for 4 days three nights, the first night we stayed at the Best Western, which cost us 47$ before tax, and our view was stairs leading to the parking lot (have a look at my review of Best Western VA Beach if you want to compare) and was just a terrible room. For 71$ before tax, at the Quality Inn we had a great and comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, a great sized room for two people, a duvet on the bed, an AWESOME continental breakfast, a view of the beach. Only negative our room was right outside the elevator - which was a little noisy but nothing bad - we were in room 509. Service was ok, nothing exceptional, and the walls had a bit of dust hanging from them, but no biggie - but overall, I'd stay there again - the difference in what we paid from the best western that wasn't oceanfront, was what we had to pay for breakfast the day after our stay at best western anyways... much better at QI VA Beach Oceanfront!

The Quality Inn and Suites suited our purpose for our visit just fine. Although we didn't use it, the pool looked very inviting, and had ample chairs around. A bike rental was right there on property also.
It has a continental breakfast of normal staples, hard boiled eggs, rolls, yogurt, breads, but nothing to rave about. But it's enough to get your started for the day.

Pros - Right on the boardwalk,
plenty of eats, music and ocean right there close by.
Staff was always friendly and helpful
Free internet
It was a decent price ($650 for 5 nites) BUT, I stayed the weekend after Labor Day, and during peak season, the price is doubled. We have friends there in Va Beach, and were told it's still warm enough (which it was) and you're not shoulder to shoulder on the beach (which we weren't) That's one of the reasons we waited till summer wass almost officially over in Va Beach.
Cons
It's an older hotel, and in need of some remodeling, this is not really a BAD thing, I've seen LOT worse, and the Quality Inn is very acceptable, but don't know if I'd like paying up to$299 a nite during the summer season though???

Don't like that the parking is across the street, and the drive up to unload your bags is very small especially if it's a busy weekend, which it was, but it's free, and that's nice.

We knew the Shriners were going to be in town that weekend, so the hotel was pretty booked, and seemed at least like it was mostly with Shriners. But my biggest complaint. is, when the hotel knows it's goning to be booked solid with a HUGE group, then open the WHOLE breakfast room, only half the room was available, the other half was roped off, and the shriners sat in there and yacked all morning, so there wasn't really any tables left for the other patrons. They DID open more on Sunday (but that was when most had checked out though) So I didn't like the breakfast experience at this hotel

All in all it's a decent place for your money in the off season
Would I go back again, yes we probably would

We stayed here for four days starting on Labor day because the rates were very reasonable. For the price, this is an excellent hotel! The rooms are clean and have a beautiful view of the ocean. We had the "ocean view" room and I would not pay more for ocean front as the ocean view was perfect for us. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. The staff were also helpful, especially the breakfast buffet staff. The people in the lobby do try to sell time shares but we are under 28 so they couldn't bother us since we aren't eligible. The indoor pool was very warm which is a plus because it was rainy out the whole stay and our infant daughter enjoys the warm water. We only went in the outdoor pool for a few minutes as it was cool outside. It was very quiet at night and I was able to sleep very well. Even though the weather was terrible during our stay we still had a great time thanks to this hotel.

We just returned from 2 nights stay. We were totally pleased with our stay. The hotel is clean witha number of extra besides a nice continental breakfast. There is fresh coffee in the lobby, a newspaper at your door every morning and treats (sno cones0 AT THE POOL EVERY DAY. Stall are pleasant and the rooms were clean and bright. The adjoining restraunt and bar is adjacent to the 7th st. stage with live entertainment nightly. We enjjoyed the restraunt with indoor and outdoor seating. The pool was well cleaned and the area well tended to. Visibl security at night was also a plus. I plan to return next year and higly recommend this hotel.
