LongHorn Steakhouse has been one of our favorites since one opened in a new shopping center nearby our Virginia Beach neighborhood. We normally visit this restaurant 5 to 6 times a year. We dropped by there again yesterday and we were not disappointed. Service was fast and courteous. The restaurant was busy as it was a Friday evening but the wait staff was up to the challenge. After being seated quickly and given our drinks, we ordered the LongHorn Shrimp and Lobster Dip ($8.79) for our appetizer. It was delicious and had just the right amount of zing to excite one's appetite. For entrees, we ordered Bacon Wrapped Sirloin (8 oz) and Parmesan Crusted Chicken. They were both $14.99 each, a great price considering the nice setting and ambiance. My steak was served just right (medium) as I ordered. It tasted perfect as I did not have to add any condiments or sauces to enhance the taste. For sides, we had the loaded baked potato, the seasoned brown rice pilaf, and the sweet potato with cinnamon and butter. They all blended well with our entrees. We had to decline dessert as we were stuffed. Our waitress was very attentive and ensured we have everything we needed. Overall, a great dining experience. We'll definitely come back again for another visit.
