Awesome! Started with a mimosa, continued with some cinnamon toast crunch shots. Order of beinets to start, then two Benny B's and one chicken and avocado arepa. Pahk browns were delicious. Hostess did a great job (long wait but worth it), Arthur was a great waiter. Food was amazing!! Ray Ray stopped by the table to be sure everything was good. Would definitely return!

Why oh why did I wait so long to visit you Ray Ray's. Now celebrating five short months in business and coming off a fantastic Summer season. Expect a Southern Fusion menu that will constantly be evolving. Also expect fresh, creative and Ray Ray to be front and center behind the grill everyday!

The location is positioned between Pacific and Atlantic with both off street and garage parking. Some debris was seen on the area, but walk up clean.

After years of Ray Labuen being on staff at some of the most well known beach restaurants such as Pete's Duck Inn, Doc Taylor's and most recently Auntie's Tiki Bar it was time for him to be the boss man. He is the owner and executive chef of Ray Ray's at the Mayflower and is thrilled to showcase his own creations.

Guest will get cozy vibe and big city feel as you step down off the sidewalk in front of the Mayflower Apartments. A short walk through the patio and into the intimate basement cafe with full service bar. Everything was tidy during my early morning visit.

Saturday brunch consisted of a Beignet starter that was served hot with traditional powdered sugar. It's not made in house, but tasty as hell! House special recommended by Ray Ray as I walked in was a freshly pounded and battered Southern Fried steak with side of eggs over easy. A quality dish and delicious! I paired with a yum house coffee from Norfolk Coffee & Tea.

Hours are daily 7-3. Thank you for the friendly service Dani and over the top hospitality Ray Ray. You will see me again soon. 4.5

We loved this place. Everything was unusually fresh and uniquely made - the biscuits were made on a griddle not baked, and the coffee was the owner's own special blend. I pretended I was a millenial and ordered the avocado toast - and it was basically a fresh salad topped with a smashed boiled egg, served open faced on hearty bread. And it was GOOD. It's a small, simple spot that probably gets really busy so try to go early. And order the beignets and biscuits, if doughy fried things are up your alley (they are definitely up mine).

This place was right across the street and we went back twice during our vacation. The biscuits and gravy ray ray’s way were the best Ive ever had in my life by far. Really great food. Friendly staff and quick service. I highly recommend this place!
