“What a find!”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

Last night our family took us to Mannino's to celebrate our 50th anniversary. What can I say... delicious comes to mind, first. Convenient was a plus! Friendly is right up there too, but the best was the food. Goodness what a find! Their Monday specials were marvelous the wine was great. Salads were not your ordinary, she crab soup was worth going back for that alone. The tableside visit from the manager was friendly and a nice touch. We will put this right at the top of our list for musts in our list of favorites.

“Marvelously Fantastic!”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

The way restaurants should be. If it's your first time visiting you know you'll definitely be back. Shantel greets you by name as you enter. Marcos knows everyone and everyone knows Marcos. We lived in New York for six years and when we moved down here we were worried we would never find a comparable Italian restaurant, but we did. Mannino's is right up there with the Arthur Avenue restaurants (which are some of the best in the world btw).

“Be Sure and Try the Specials”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

We visited Mannino's on a Saturday evening with the specific purpose of trying their advertised specials. We were not disappointed. We started with a cup of their Creamy Mushroom Bisque (a special) and a cup of their famous She Crab soup ( on the menu). They were both outstanding and we asked our waitress to please convey our suggestion that the Crab Bisque be added to the menu. We then tried their Little Neck Clams in broth. They were equally delicious. Finally we ordered the Salmon Picotta (special) and it was really quite good. Our waitress told us it had been a sell out special and we were one of the last to get an order before they ran out. This is our forth visit and the restaurant has consitently maintained high quality and tasty food.

“Outstanding”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Husband and I had the best Italian seafood entrees maybe ever. We had a special, lobster and crab in olive oil with spinach and pasta.
We asked for olive oil rather than butter to be used in the entrees and that was not a problem. Our waitress Marin was very nice and knowledgeable.
I highly recommended this restaurant.

“They do it right”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

We had an early dinner - veal Francaise for my wife and a 3 layer parmesan "stack" containing veal, eggplant and portabello - all for $19 something each. The food (and bread) were delicious. Best of all the service was both friendly and professional. Did not have room for dessert so cannot comment on that.
