We originally had a reservation at another VA Beach restaurant for Restaurant Week that we had been wanting to try. However, Mannino's menu and TA Reviews drew us in, so we cancelled the other reservation and were able to get a reservation for Saturday evening.
We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server, Holly, promptly greeted us at our table and shared information about the menu and wine specials for the evening. My husband and I ordered from the $30 dinner menu, each choosing different items from the three courses. Everything recommended by Holly was spot-on and was enjoyed by both of us.
The service throughout the meal was attentive and all staff we encountered were friendly. As with most tables, the large portions required boxing of leftovers. No complaints about that!
Prior to leaving, Marcus (the Manager) checked on us to make sure we enjoyed our meal. It was a very enjoyable meal and we knew we had made the right choice in selecting this restaurant for our evening out.
