An excellent collection of military aircraft, most in flying condition. Very knowledgeable and informative guides who know their stuff and have flown some of the aircraft. Very nicely displayed aircraft covering a long time frame. Make time for a stop here. They also have a replica of the plane Cal Rogers used to fly across the country for the first time in 1911.

After viewing these planes, you truly appreciate what our countrymen did for freedom. "Some crazy pilots"

If you have the slightest interest in aviation this museum it diffrently worth the trip. Plenty of cool aircraft and knowledgeable volunteers eager to answer questions. The musuem was placed in calm rural surroundings and was not to crowded.
I had expected to see the Messerschmitt Me262, but apparently this aircraft resides elsewhere due to FAA landing restrictions.

Excellent facilities, friendly helpful volunteers and great military hardware with very nice collection of WWI and WWII Aircraft all housed in several hangers. Visited recently with a friend who lives in the area and he had never visited, and our wives were off to the mall, we decided to enjoy some vintage aircraft. All the planes are in great shape, and reported to all be air-worthy by several members of the all volunteer staff. The staffers are not only there to point towards the exits and drinking fountains, their passion is for these vintage planes and if you ask questions you will certainly get some detailed answers. We spend a good two hours looking at the planes and some of the vehicles they have on display. A great trip for kids to see these planes and learn the history about the great wars of the past and how these machines were so vital in Allied victory. They do have a good number of German planes, I particularly enjoyed seeing the Red Baron’s plane, or at least one done in the famous red color scheme. B-25 Mitchell, P-51 Mustang, P-40 Tiger Shark were also favorites of mine. Great side trip if you are in the area………
