Took my niece(18 months)husband, and sister-in-law,because we saw it in our hotel info flyer and we had a great time with the animals. The staff were busy cleaning the llama huts and let me tell you this place was well kept. You could instantly see the animals were healthy and happy.A billygoat had an injury that was being treated and the nannies and kids were very tame and fun to be with. They were not agresssive and the baby was right there beside them petting them without any problems. We moved on to the chicken coop and checked the nests for eggs and even picked the chickens up.We didnt have any issues even with the llamas. The pony ride was the best and the staff were very friendly and helpful.I would recommend this facility to any visitor to Va.Beach.It was so awesome.

This farm is small but don't let that fool you. My three year old son was in heaven! From the baby goats, the pony ride, the large playground, and the excavators he couldn't decide what he liked the most. The animals are obviously well cared for and very friendly. The feed is a little more expensive then some places but you can tell right away its a higher quality feed so I didn't mind. My only compliant is that the pony ride was rushed and far too short. We will definitely come back here next year :)

Out if every thing we did while at the beach, this place was by far my 2 year old's favorite. He lived the chickens, the goats, and the ducks (some that were just visiting). He freaked out when we tried the pint ride, the staff was patient and tried to help ease his anxiety, but he wouldn't do it. They refunded my ticket (which I used to get more feed).

While the kids liked it, their favorite part were the peacock feathers (2 for $1 at the kiosk if you can't find one), this sounded a lot better on their website than it was and I felt it was overpriced, especially the pony rides. But it was something different to do.

$4 per person (adult & kids) plus $5 for the pony ride which is only one round on the interior of the farm. It lasted just a few minutes. While there are several enclosures to go into to pet the animals, it was mostly the goats and the chickens you get to see up close. The rabbits and turtles are in cages and cannot be held. The playground is nothing special, all the slides but the one covered were too hot to use. The place was pretty full with children on day/ field trips. We only spent about an hour there, this included petting various animals, the pony rides and playing on the playground.

Only porter potty bathrooms, but they did have large bottles of hand sanitizer outside every petting area.

With our return to Virginia Beach/Sandbridge, we carved out time to return to Hunt Club Farm to enjoy their petting zoo and it was well worth it! The staff is extremely friendly, going out of their way to show our kids a very young baby rabbit and there was a nice variety of animals (goats, chickens, rabbits, turtles, geese, alpacas, horses, donkeys, other birds) to keep our kids interested. A great value for what you get, too!
