Stopped in for dinner and found the place packed. The welcoming hostess offered a spot at the end of the bar. Since it was just hubby and me, it was perfect. The bartender acknowledged us immediately even though he was very busy. The martinis were great and had a nice selection of beer. Settled on wedge salads to start and they were amazing. Nearly a meal in itself and so inventive with the presentation and toppings. And very fresh! The hasselhoff burger was simply the best I have ever had. I don't usually order burgers but it sounded so interesting that I did. And am I so glad I did! Words can't do it justice, but just imagine the best beef you've ever used for you backyard BBQ and multiply the results by 10. It was really that good. The service with a smile made the night complete. You gotta go to Eat when you're near Va beach.

Dined at Eat and found the food excellent. Stuffed meatballs and oysters rockafellar....fantastic. An oyster stew that was the best ever. Service was impeccable, ask for Nikki, she was wonderful. Nice atmosphere, great food and great service. When you are looking for a new experience, try eat!

We love places that are creative with their cooking; that mix ingredients in new ways for unique experiences. This place was simply delicious! And the portions were very big, which is unusual for a restaurant of this type. Go!

Great place for dinner/drinks with friends! We had a party of 5 girls and the restaurant was very accommodating when we needed an earlier time for our reservation. They were busy (almost every table was full) when we arrived but we did arrive later around 8:30pm. But our server was great and the food was spectacular! The restaurant has a very warm/cozy/relaxed feeling. Great choice during the off season for the oceanfront. It might be a little hectic or packed during the summer season but its great for locals during the winter months!
