I recently stayed at the hotel for a business meeting. I would certainly return and stay there for another business meeting and/or take the family and stay there for vacation.

All things are relative. It's not the Ritz but a nice hotel overall for location, convenience, and value.

I had arranged a small conference, and needed to do so on a tight budget. The people @ VSA and Ocean Key Resort made this possible. We were treated extremely well, and given outstanding accomadations at a very fair rate. They welcomed us with open arms, and invited us back. We hope to do this semi-annually at the same location.

Had a great time in VA Beach for New Years although we froze our buns off, LOL. Didn't think it got that cold there. Stayed at the Ocean Key Resort (Hotel) which was nice. It appeared to basically be a hotel that was and is being renovated to resemble a resort. The rooms were nice but very tiny. Wanted a 2 beroom suite and what was offered was two rooms side by side separated by walls with a door leading into each living room - typical hotel setup!! Had duplicate room setups which was nice for the bowl games - guys on one side & gals on the other, LOL. The kitchen is the hallway between the living room and bedroom - not much room to do much! Pool area was nice but not very private. It shared the same space as the hotel registration desk. The person at the counter said there are plans to wall off the areas next year. All the staff were friendly. The biggest problem was that neither of the entrance doors or the balcony doors provided any noise or weather insulation. Our balcony faced Pacific Ave (on the 9th floor) & we still heard every piston firing in every vehicle all night. We heard every footstep & bone crack on people walking the halls all day long. Upgrade the doors people!!!

Our stay was lovely. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and courteous. The "Palm Tree" made from the towels and washcloths on the bed was reminicent of our Bahama cruise. I've never seen that done in a hotel before, and it was a cute touch that really stood out for us.

I stayed at the Ocean Key Resort this past weekend and didnt want to leave! Our suite was beautiful. Very clean and beautiful! Our bed was comfortable with tons of soft fluffy pillows, the bathroom was spotless stocked with plush towels, and beautiful decor. I was checked both in and out of the hotel by Mike Jones who couldn't have been more polite. The staff at any given time that you passed them in the hallway elevator or lobby were polite and cheerful. You could tell that they were very proud of their hotel, as they should be. I cant wait to return for another stay! Thanks for everything Ocean Key, we had a great time!
