Check in was quick and friendly. That is it for good things.
I always thought I could depend on Courtyard Marriott which is why I didn't bother giving my room a thorough going over before going to bed.
Woke up the next morning, with little bites all over my ankle. Disgusting. How could things get worse...how about a dirty face cloth in the shower. Need more...how about 1/2 inch of grime in the bottom of the coffee cups and dried milk/coffee all over the edge...Finally to add one more dagger to this wonderful business travelling adventure, there is no hairdryer.
What a great way to start my morning.
Don't stay here unless you are a glutton for punishment.
Check out immediately.
Front desk apologized...but haven't heard anything else.
Would highly recommend Wingate on Burton Station Road.

Where to begin.... Well let's start with the only pleasent part of the hotel: check in. The girl who checked me in was one of the nicest clerks i'd ever met with. That's where the good comments end. Looking at the lobby and just knowing the marriot quality, this hotel is a dump. It's like paying marriott prices for red roof inn quality. The rooms are closet size. The room I stayed in had a tinge of musk to it. There was no refrigerator or microwave. To add insult to injury, they leave a hot bottle of water on the desk with a note that says "this is for your enjoyment, if you drink this water $1.50 will be charged to your room." Then the water bottle was only about 16 oz. What kind of crap is that? For $100 per night, you'd expect to at least have free local calls right? Not in this dump. They charge you .75 cents per call. If that's not a rip off, I don't know what is. Now let's talk about breakfast.. The girl who checked me in told me that breakfast was included in the price of the room... yeah right. My boyfriend and I went down for breakfast only to find that they were going to charge us 9.00 per person. Not alot of money, but if you tell me it's covered, it should be covered. I was so dissapointed, I ended up checking out of the hotel a day early. Fortunately, I didn't have a problem getting my money back for the extra day.

I have stayed here twice in the past month or two, each time for one night, and it's a good option, quite adequate. I don't think it's near the beach, but it's near lots of commerce, close to a lot. We have been there to see nearby family, so it was perfect - comfortable beds, relatively close to restaurants, etc. Friendly staff. No complaints.
