This is a fairly expensive hotel but you pay for the convenience of the beach and the amenities the hotel offers. The mini lazy river pools were a nice convenience and being able to walk out to the beach when you felt like it was a nice perk as well. The hotel also offers free washer/dryer use which was a great help for me to wash my son's uniform between tournaments. The kids eat free 12 and under was helpful but you must be aware that this of course is off the kids menu, i.e. chicken tenders, pizza, cheeseburger. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and that made the kids eat free worth while as well. The only negative comment I have is that the room cleaning unfortunately was lacking. Although the person cleaning the room was very nice when we met her at our door, the cleaning was inadequate. the shower still had sand and dirt in it from the day before and we had to ask for replacement items twice. We don't expect it to be immaculate but if you are paying close to 300 dollars a night you expect them to go the extra mile. I will say the friendliness of the staff was outstanding, always greeting us and offering help. There was also an error on my bill at checkout where someone had signed our name and charged food to our room fraudulently.
