I normally do not write reviews, but wanted to warn someone to beware. We stayed here 3 days because it was the most reasonable place near the beach, but I would say save up your money and go to a hotel really worth staying at. The bathroom was old and needed to be remodeled and the tub looked somewhat dirty, and the bathroom door was sticking every time you tried to close it all the way. When you take a shower the mat in the tub was floating. Everything in room was dusty and the remote control did not work. We ran into the maid twice who asked us if we needed anything and we asked for wash cloths once and a hand towel another time and she said she would have them in our room before we got back and when we came back nothing was there. I also asked for a King bed in our room for our reservation and they set me and my husband up with 2 double beds and said they had no king rooms available and besides they were higher. The elevator was small and the door kept dragging when it opened and closed.
$150 dollars a night for a total dump! This place had plaster falling from the ceiling, mold in the bath and furniture was banged up. The staff is unfriendly to the point of rude although who could blame them working in a dump like this place. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT AN EXPERIENCE FROM HELL.
I have never written a review before but this time I had to share. Neptune was running a special $99 a night. I thought it was a great deal to be so close to the beach, and it was really to good to be true. The staff were very helpful and polite but the room was a dump the smell of mold was so strong it made my skin crawl I felt consumed by filth. The white linens were dirty beige, the carpet was so worn and dirty I could see the sub floor, the wall paper was peeling with brown stains, the cabinet that housed the tv had all broken drawers. I was afraid to even move around. My stay there was 1 hour; I checked in and checked right back out they charged me 1 night fee and I was glad to give it to them. That hotel needs a total renovation, It's a sin to rent rooms like that. I could never reccomend this hotel to anyone.
we were charged over 900.00 for 2 rooms that should have been 182 each.NO REFUND YET!watch out! They act like it is standard practice to charge and then refund. No diferent than me stealing, you catching me and me saying its ok you get it back in 5to7days!
The staff was very nice.
Please accept my sincere apologies to your negative experience. At check-in you asked to change the form of payment for your reservation. I informed you that we had already charged the first night to the credit card you reserved it with but I could refund it if you would like. You agreed.
This process does take a few days. I am sorry you feel someone was trying to steal from you because obviously this is not the case. In the future please understand that most hotels will run an authorization or charge the first night when you make a reservation. We release it on our end immediately but before it goes to your bank the credit card company and your bank must process the transactions. The same is true for when we charge the card, the money may post on your account well before the actual funds hit the merchants bank. I am certain the funds have been refunded by now, but if not please feel free to reach out to me so I can resolve this issue personally.
