We stayed here over the Shamrock Marathon weekend, and were not pleased with the accommodations. We arrived on a Saturday evening, and while checking in, the staff was inattentive and was unable to provide a receipt for our payment. They told us that they would call the room when the receipt was ready, and never heard back. We had to request it again upon checkout. The room was sizable, however the Internet service was not working and when we called to report the problem, we were again told someone would call us back, and no one ever did. While the room was clean, the bathroom was outdated, and in need of some repairs. Additionally, the hot water in the shower never kicked in - not a pleasing realization on the weekend of a race. While I would be a little more forgiving if we had gotten a deal on the rate, but at $130.00 for the night, the least we could expect is amenities that work. I would not recommend this location. It is certainly not worth the rate, and caused more stress than relaxation for us.
The hospitality at Day's Inn was all that I e3xpected and more. The room was large, clean and had everything that I needed. I will definitely consider staying there again.
