“Very informative”

We got there the first thing in the morning. Our tour guide was captain Carl. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. He likes ghost stories too. He spoke for over an hour and probably can carry on more. Neat place, worth the stop.

“Learn history at the beach”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

Cute small museum, exhibits change monthly or so, stairs to 2nd level exhibit, great docents & souvenirs! Definitely worth a visit if you are walking down the boardwalk. Inexpensive for the knowledge gained, guaranteed you will learn something new!

We were walking on the beach and found this old Coast Guard Station. The docent was very informative. Neat little place.

“Good, could be better”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

It's a small space museum, but it has a lot of neat things in it and good information. The "tour" is a woman who just gives a little over view of the history and explains the stuff in the main room - everything else is self guided. It's worth it, but it's about $8 a person.

“Right On The Boardwalk”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

Had a very interesting docent, retired Coast Guard. Lots of information about the early history of life saving techniques on the coast. Don't miss the 2nd floor exhibit and take time to watch the short movie about the German sub. Nice gift shop. Glad we stopped.
