We had dinner on the patio. There's a bar and a tv to watch football games. Simple menu. Great beers.

“Had a nice dinner there.”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

We needed to eat dinner and weren't sure where to go, so we set out on foot and ran into Murphy's. The exterior isn't much and neither is the interior, but we had an adorable and helpful waiter, I think his name was Parker or something kind of different that began with a "P". He was so upbeat and helpful that he helped us start our VA beach vacation on the right foot. Just what we needed.

We started out with calamari, which was good. My sister and I both had salmon cooked two different ways, but both were good. I had blackened salmon, which was cooked perfectly, very moist, but not raw. Also crisp green beans with a little fresh garlic. Husband had corned beef and cabbage. We were all very satisfied with what we had. We would definitely return to try some of the other items. Their signature dish is ribs, they have a special where they give you an entire rack for 10 bucks. Next time.

“Irish and local heaven”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

We found this place on our last day. Too bad because the regular prices would have made this an almost daily spot for dinner. The food and atmosphere were perfect and had my then 6-year old daughter dancing along to the Irish tunes. Great for food, drinks, watching a game, and catching a band. We will be back again!
