Stop there many times and always find a good daily special or chose one of their regular menu items. Sit down and eat with strangers and feel like a local.

Stocked full of local products and produce- everything is "home" made. If they don't make it there, somebody local does. Great place to stop for lunch to eat there or take-out. I had one of the best paninis I've ever had and the baked goods are to die for. Great location @ the corner of 522 and 20.

My wife and I stop in for breakfast and conversation every couple of weeks. You can just listen or offer your opinion while waiting for your food. The sausage egg and biscuit is my favorite. Everything is made to order and they have a large selection for both breakfast and lunch. Service speed is based on the number of orders that are ahead of you, so just sit back and enjoy the people.

We stopped in to Marshall Farms Corner Deli and Gift Shop on our way to Virginia's Wine Country. It doesn't look like much from the outside...an old gas station sans pumps but still a garage. Boy, were we surprised! A few tables, one that is long, family style adorn this little gem that offers hearty breakfasts, specialty sandwiches and wraps, panninis, salads, smoothies and a nice selection coffees/lattes, and cappuccinos. It also offers a nice selection of local Virginia wines, award winning cheeses and other gifts.

We had the french toast and sausage and the big breakfast platter. The food was great and the hospitality was just like we had stopped to visit family on a road trip. One couple who stops up on their way back and forth to Tennessee had them make some sandwiches to go.

Stop on in if you get the chance--you won't be disappointed!
