“Would have given a 4, but for the eggplant parmesan”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

Our family likes to come to this restaurant on special occasions - and we like the family style menu for us. We really liked the appetizers - salad, calamari, and mussels. The entrees were shrimp scampi, eggplant parmesan and Fettuccine Alfredo. We really enjoyed the seafood - the mussels, calamari and the shrimp scampi were amazing - especially the shrimp scampi - the sauce -super yum. The eggplant parmesan which is usually a favorite was very dry and overcooked. It was baked without the pan frying the eggplant first and I think it lost something in the taste. Then we had dessert - we ordered the Tiramisu and the Apple Crostada. They were both wonderful - especially the Crostada. The service was pretty good until they forgot to give us forks to eat our dessert.

“making reservations at Maggiano's”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

On Saturday night it was the girls night out. We opted for Maggiano's at Tyson's Corner. We have had dinner for larger group many times before as well as family and business dinners. The food and service is real good. Very tasty. We ordered shrimp, beef and chicken. But in order to have a great dinner, we made reservations for the only available time they had on Saturday was at 8:30 pm. When we got there a little before 8:30 they told us they are running a few minutes late for the reservations made for 8:30 pm. We kept asking when they will be seating us until it was almost 9:30 pm. The idea of making a reservation is to get there and be seated. By the time they seated us it was 9:30, not a real apology or maybe offer drinks while we wait or appetizers. The people who seat you are incredibly non-customer oriented. While the waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable.

“Bella, bella, bella!”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

Our family ate at this restaurant on Veterans Day to celebrate my granddaughters 6th birthday and it was fun, busy with families, energy and of course very good Italian food. We had appetizers, soups and salads, entre's, wine and deserts all for a very reasonable price.

I can recommend this nice restaurant to you while you are at the Tysons Corner mall! Bon Appetit!

“A feast to enjoy”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Visited Maggiano's on a recent business trip to McLean, we were a large party and had their recommendation for parties and it didn't disappoint, a selection of starters that included, Calamari, Mushrooms, Salad, main courses of Mama's Lasagne, Beef fillet, Chicken and desserts of massive Profiteroles, stuffed with ice cream and New York Cheesecake, all tasty and certain large portions. We washed this down with some house white and red , aided by a good atmosphere this was a great night out. It's certainly not UK fine dinning but it's great value, flavorsome and well cooked wholesome food that is worth eating.

“Pastabilities”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

This is where I discovered Maggiano's. It is great comfort food and, with careful choices, can be a great value, too. It was one of my frequent selections when I "lived" at the nearby Ritz Carlton on constant business trips to HQ.
