Description: Situated in one of the most coveted living and commercial areas in the US, this Art Deco-inspired roadhouse stands atop a bluff above the crossroads connecting Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. With four dining rooms, two kitchens and balconies overlooking live palm trees, Clyde's of Tysons Corner sets a new standard for Clyde's. From it's first day in operation, it has drawn a huge crowd of international and residential visitors including: business people and shoppers to nearby families and Wolf Trap audiences. With decor and furnishings that invite guests to dine amidst the glory days of Art Deco, the only thing that might top the varied and extensive menu is the elaborate and sophisticated atmosphere.

A DC area standard, Clyde's offers a large, traditional menu with excellent service. Particularly a good choice if your group has varied tastes and/or food requirements.

The salmon with grilled artichokes and black olives was an amazing flavor combination. I wish all Clyde's could serve this combination Maithili the salmon.

We had a tasty Father's Day lunch on the outdoor patio, a rare day in DC where you could sit out and not too hot/not too cold!

Highly recommend the crab tower appetizer. Must get recipe for the coconut rice cake that is the base of the dish!

Burger, BBQ and crabcake good as always.

Our Father's Day brunch was very anticipated as our grandchildren were in town. We were excited to celebrate with the kids. The service was great as usual. Unfortunately, some of the entrees were less than exciting. The Huevos Rancheros were very dry as no sauce was offered with it. The kid's pizza was also skimpy in toppings. My husband felt there could have been more strawberry rhubarb compote offered with his belgian waffle. My sister loved her Pork Belly burger. I loved the Strawberry Balsamic Salad. We have had some absolutely wonderful meals here previously so we were a little disappointed in the food this time.

Clyde's at Tysons Corner has been a landmark and consistent favorite of mine since it first opened. It's beautiful art deco interior and frisky frescoes in the Palm Room are unfortunately looking very tired and a bit ragged. The service was very good, but the food was just average. In addition, it's location is almost impossible to get to with all the new Metro construction now in place. Tip - enter from Route 7 West, first right after going under 123/Chain Bridge Road. So sorry to see this Tysons Corner icon not up to its prior standards. I heard they may be moving to an office building in the area some time in the future.
