Description: Situated in one of the most coveted living and commercial areas in the US, this Art Deco-inspired roadhouse stands atop a bluff above the crossroads connecting Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. With four dining rooms, two kitchens and balconies overlooking live palm trees, Clyde's of Tysons Corner sets a new standard for Clyde's. From it's first day in operation, it has drawn a huge crowd of international and residential visitors including: business people and shoppers to nearby families and Wolf Trap audiences. With decor and furnishings that invite guests to dine amidst the glory days of Art Deco, the only thing that might top the varied and extensive menu is the elaborate and sophisticated atmosphere.

“Nice lunchtime experience”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

We chose this Clyde's as a half-way meeting point for seeing friends we hadn't seen in many years, because at every Clyde's we've dined, we've always found a congenial atmosphere with good food. This trip was no exception. From the hostess' greeting ,to the efficient wait staff, to the manager who comped our desserts after hearing of our reunion, we had a great lunch. Oh, and the food was well presented and tasty. I especially enjoyed my Reuben sandwich, and the crème brule, and my companions were well satisfied with all their choices.
Though it is hard to find with the nearby construction in the Tysons area, and the foyer area needs a refurbishing, this Clyde's lives up to the standards of its name.

“Good value for money”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

Pros:
1) Quality - fresh produce, fish, meats - you can taste the difference.
2) Variety - enough to appease the most sophisticated palate while keeping the kids happy
3) Drink selection - robust and will meet your need for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
4) Oysters - complete menu articulating the unique characteristics of all varieties available (salinity, size, location, etc)
5) Service - attentive and knowledgeable

Cons:
1) Location - tucked away in Tysons, this one can be a bit challenging to find given current construction in the area.

“Awaiting Transformation”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Great classic Clyde's restaurant, but tired, really tired looking.
Food goods as usual and service above average.
Redevelopment of the property can't come too soon.

“Great Bartenders!”

Went there with a group. Bartenders were attentive and professional. Mostly individual tabs and I was amazed how they kept it sorted out. Will visit again.
