“Great food, stiff drinks!”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

We ate here on a Saturday afternoon for a snack. I ordered a "Grayson" cheese platter for one. There was a great variety of local cheeses/snacks to choose from. It came beautifully presented, and was the perfect size. It came with fruit leather, the cheese, figs, and smoked pecans. It also came with a bowl of toasted bread. It was delicious. My husband ordered the turkey cobb salad and loved it! He ate it very quickly, it was that good.

They have a wide variety of drinks. . just be forewarned, that they are stiff! Definitely worth the money.

Entyse attracts a lot of different patrons- ladies there for high tea, people taking a break from shopping, or hotel guests relaxing.

The only criticism I have is that the service was a little slow. They weren't that crowded and I felt like we had to chase down our waiter.

Would definitely recommend- I wish we had eaten a full meal there!

“Expensive Cocktails but Worth the Price”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

I was staying at the Ritz for a family gathering over Mothers Day weekend and stopped in on Monday to Entyse for an afternoon cocktail. The place was not crowded at that time and I sat at the Bar and had two cocktails (both gin on the rocks). I got a good pour and had an wide choice of gins to select from. The bartender was a good conversationalist and made my stay there enjoyable. I would definitely return both to the hotel and to Entyse.

“Definitely getting its act together.”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

This restaurant has flip-flopped in the past. Years ago, it was a steak house (I forget the name of it) but the food was over-the-top delicious. Then it turned into EnTYse, and the quality of food went down tremendously. However, after eating here in April, I believe the restaurant is finally getting its act together.

The menu, while a bit limited, does hold a variety of food for an array of palettes. It's going along with the 'tapas and drinks' theme you see at so many new restaurants these days, but there are more substantial entrees. I've had the pork sliders, mezze, fried calamari, and pomme frittes - all were excellent. My mother had the chicken pita and, while tasty, it did seem to use just the trimmings of the chicken.

Since it's the Ritz, you can expect Ritz prices. If this isn't your thing, there are plenty of restaurants in the Galleria to choose from.

“Breakfast at the Bistro”
Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

Had breakfast there with my wife. She got oatmeal with fruit. Pricy but actually worth it. Steel cut oats (not the instant stuff) and a very large bowl of berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries). With the berries actually made it somewhat of a bargain. Eggs Benedict were good- not over the top, potatoes were run of the mill, sauce was good, pretty standard. A bit overpriced for what you got. Service initially prompt then a problem getting coffee refilled. Would give stay at hotel 5+, restaurant needs to get up to speed with the hotel.
