I recently stayed at the Crown Plaza and was very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were very clean with comfortable accomodations. The staff at the front desk were very efficient and charming during check-in and check-out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Tyson Corner.

Had a wonderful dinner at the italian style restaurant (forgot the name) spoke with chef and he recomended a great meal. I would definatly go back

I stayed at this hotel last weekend. Within 1 hr of our checking in, our wallets, digital camera, laptop were stolen from the room. When i reported this at the front desk, all i could get is the local police number & a check on the room entry log.
Stay at your own risk.

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback in your TripAdvisor review. We appreciate your visit to the hotel and for taking the time to submit a review. We take all reviews very seriously, as we look for every opportunity we can get to improve our service.

Having said that, again, we are extremely regretful that your personal items were stolen during your stay at our hotel. As you know, our Manager on Duty that evening was very apologetic and deeply concerned about the security of your items, while trying to be very attentive to your needs, helping you search the pool area and your hotel room.

We take pride in our customer service and ensuring that if anything goes wrong during a guest’s stay we are extremely understanding and responsive. As you know, we immediately administered a lock interrogation test to see who had entered your room with a room key from the time you checked in. You will recall that the room was only entered with the key that you received at check-in; alleviating any concern that one of our staff members entered your room while you were not there.

Also, you will recall that when the engineer on duty arrived with you to the room to administer the lock interrogation test, the guestroom door was open, which could possibly mean that it was open while you were not in the room.

While we are deeply regretful of your bad experience at our hotel, we feel certain that all possible security measures were taken during your stay, and we were extremely receptive and responsive to your needs during your stay and beyond… for as you know, our General Manager has been in contact with you since you checked out to follow up with unresolved issues, to see if there was anything we could do to help provide closure for you of this issue.

Again, thank you very much for your posting; we will most certainly use this feedback to improve our service, and hopefully we will have the pleasure to serve you again in the near future.

I just wanted to thank you on behalf of my husband and myself for an incredible stay at your hotel this past weekend!

The people at the front desk on Friday night and Saturday morning were wonderful. Our room was so comfortable! The bed was amazing, my husband was thrilled with the fact that he was able to watch the basketball tournaments on a flat screen tv, and words cannot describe how great those shower heads are!

We were there as a part of the Political Collectors show, and I must say, everything was perfect!

Please thank your staff for their hospitality, we hope to stay with you again sometime in the near future!

While the hotel itself is quiet and well-kept, the staff were inept at handling problems.

I checked out at 7am this Wednesday and noticed at 10am that my $800 michelle watch was missing, and then remembered that I'd placed it on the bathroom sink before taking a shower and forgot to put it back on. I called the hotel and they informed me that the cleaning staff had already "cleaned" the room and they couldn't find it - big suprise.

When I came back myself at noon, the same housekeeper - Maria, that had cleaned my room was still in the process of working the floor. The staff did not question her or have her cart checked - they instead opted to look at the laundry drop which OF COURSE wouldn't have it. They then deferred to their HR manager and said that their insurance company would call me without clarifying any followup or explanation. I shouldn't have to shake down the staff or fight with an insurance company over an expensive item that was in that hotel room only MINUTES before I called. Had they been more assertive, this could have been resolved the same day. I will be sharing this story with everyone I know and at this point am decided that I will never reserve a room with this hotel chain again.

We understand that perception is reality, and though there are two-sides to every story, hearing your perspective is very helpful to us as we are continually looking for ways to improve our service.

Having said that, we sincerely apologize for any inconveniences you had at our hotel, and we regret that your stay didn’t meet all your expectations. I can guarantee you that our staff made repeated searches in the guest room and checking all laundry items and we tried to the best of our ability to locate the missing item. Our Human Resource Manager followed up with the housekeeper to obtain an explanation of how she conducted the cleaning of this room. The housekeeper stated that she did not locate a watch in this room. This housekeeper is one of the hotel’s many all-star employees and has an excellent track record. Unfortunately, our actions of contacting the insurance company were necessary in compliance with the hotel’s policy and procedure.

Again, thank you very much for your posting and I’m sorry that you had a bad memory of our hotel; we will most certainly use this feedback to improve and hopefully we will have the pleasure to serve you again in the near future with a more positive experience.
