Solid choice

Stayed here for a Saturday night in mid-September. Although I was a quick in-and-out, the experience was really good. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, room was clean and spacious (albeit a bit dated) and the price was extremely reasonable. Parking is in an underground garage, but can be easily figured out. The tough part about this property is getting to it / accessing it. It's on a one-way access road amid the Tysons concrete jungle. A good GPS or Google Maps + an illegal left turn will get you there though.

I stayed at this property long ago, but not since it was renovated. The lobby is much, much nicer and the rooms are suitably contemporary. They are about average in size for a Marriott, and the baths seems a little small, but there was a VERY large screen TV in my room. The location is quite convenient for many Tysons area businesses, shops, and restaurants. Although the newly-installed electronic key system (based on the Marriott phone app) didn't work for me, the staff was very courteous and quickly remedied this problem.

We didn't want to get too far out of D.C.; when we found this hotel we thought it would be perfect. We don't usually stay in higher priced hotels so we were really expecting a huge jump in amenities. Sadly , our room was not much, if any, better than the rooms we pay half the price for elsewhere. It is clean, nice, beautiful lobby, and has a pleasant little dining spot next to the lobby . However, there is not even a continental breakfast! Our lesser price hotels always have a breakfast- sometimes a full hot breakfast- at no charge. Also this hotel charges for parking at the hotel. I wasn't impressed at all.

Dear onyx1amy,

Thank you for your response about your recent stay at our hotel. Our goal is for all our guest to have an outstanding experience at any Marriott hotel, and we have unfortunately fallen short of that goal. Please accept our humblest apology.

As a full service Marriott, unfortunately we do not have breakfast included in our generic rates. However, we do have rates that do include breakfast and parking in the rates at a discount. Additionally, our parking is free on the weekends. If you are looking for Marriott Hotels that do include breakfast for all guests, there are many that do; these included hotels like Residence Inns (Two of which are near our hotel) and Fairfield Inn & Suites. These are great hotels that generally have lower rates and include breakfast and even internet depending on the hotel.

If your travels bring you our way again, we looking forward to having you stay at our hotel or one of the many great hotels in our area that can meet oyur needs.

Sincerely,
Greg J
Front Office Manager

We stayed here for a local conference and the hotel was fine, it is starting to show its age. The rooms are small and the furniture, etc is showing its age, most other Marriotts of this age are currently being updated. The stay was fine, the staff seemed to need some training as far as Marriott reward perk, but other than that everything was perfectly adequate.

As a Front Desk Manager, and as a Marriott Employee, I thank you for your loyalty with Marriott and do apology that the service you received as a rewards member did not feel up to Marriott Standards. I have shared that feedback with various hotel leaders in different departments to ensure all departments in the hotel re-emphasize taking care of our loyal customers/rewards members. Additionally, we are aware of out building feeling a little outdated, which is why we are set for renovations for the end of 2018.

If your travels bring you our way again, wee looking forward to having you stay at our hotel; if it is during 2019, we hope you will see a positive change to the look and feel of our hotel.

Sincrely,
Greg Johnson

This was the perfect place for me to stay on my recent trip to an NFL game in Washington. Staying here helped me avoid the beltway, plus the hotel is just a short walk to the metro station, which takes you to within a mile of the stadium. Parking at the hotel was free for the weekend and the hotel was top notch. Will stay here again in the future.

Excellent hotel. Very clean, quiet and in a convenient area. I would stay there again. Such a comfortable bed! Large parking lot to accommodate all the guest. The only issue we found was finding the drive way entrance. Quick check-in and check-out.
