Description: Located in the heart of Tysons Corner, Chima Brazilian Steakhouse brings a unique dining experience to metro Washington DC and Fairfax County. Chima's unique style of service "Rodizio" which means rotation brings to our diner a variety of beef, pork, chicken and fish in a dining rotation and served by our Gauchos directly to your table. Our wide and various offers on our salad bar make the dining experience at Chima a unique one.

my wife and i went here for the restaurant special. after 40 minutes we were full and asked for the bill. the bill took 20 minutes. interesting, they brought the wine list to me on an ipad, but i guess preparing a bill and then swiping your credit card have to be done in a single location, a real bottleneck. you'd think their money would have been better spent getting ipads or the devices like they use in europe to charge your card rather than investing the money in a digital wine list.

last year we also went to chima's during restaurant week. the power went out while we were there and it took more than an hour to pay. now this instance may have been an "act of god" but the restaurant might have used the occasion to garner some good will by handing out coupons, drinks or a discount.

in any event, i don't believe i'll ever go back. the salad bar is excellent and the meats are tasty but the prices are high and the service, at least when it comes to paying the bill, is abysmal.

there are plenty of other good restaurants in the area where the food is as good or better with service commensurate with the quality of the food.

Great food.. but the salad bar is among the best in the world. Reservation is required and no dress code. They have a salad only option.

When visiting the Tyson's Corner area, we always plan a family dinner at Chima. The food is always delicious and you are able to request the type and temperature of the meat you want. We always enjoy the salmon and swordfish with passion fruit sauce on the side. The salad bar is always well stocked and offers a variety of choices. Service has always been attentive. We look forward to dining here again!

This was my first time dining at a Brazilian Steakhouse and my only regret is that I waited this long! What a great all around experience, I can't wait to return! Service is top-notch as is the food and presentation.

Having eaten at Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao, I had a firm set of experiences to frame this against. By far this was the most enjoyable experience in a Brazilian steakhouse. My significant other took me here for a nice date night, and we had a great time.

The atmosphere is loud but social, and it is not nearly as crowded as Fogo (the tables there are practically on top of each other). The salad bar and meat selection is comparable, and all is well prepared and delicious. The servers were helping people celebrate birthdays with songs and candle-lit pieces of cake. The service was prompt and the ambiance was equal parts intimate, trendy, and upscale. That is really what set this apart from the bustle of Texas de Brazil, and the cramped, somewhat snobbish style of Fogo de Chao. The food at all three is superb, but Chima was the nicest dining experience.
