We were lucky enough to find out through the restaurant's newsletter that it was Restaurant Week this week in Suffolk - $30 three-course meals. The Restaurant Week menu provided several choices under each course. It was easy enough to make a reservation in advance through Open Table. We requested one of the two tables for two in front of the fireplace. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted and our coats taken and checked. We were taken to our requested table and seated. Service at this restaurant is fantastic. We enjoyed a Pumpkin Martini before our meal and shared a bottle of wine throughout the different courses. We never felt rushed and that was nice. Some restaurants tend to hurry you through the different courses on busy evenings. From the appetizers, to the entrees, through dessert; everything was wonderful. You can't go wrong with the Vintage Tavern. It was a great evening.

We are NEVER disappointed. The food and staff are exceptional, as is the atmosphere. Expensive, but worth it! They don't nickle & dime you with expensive ala carte menus. The food is a meal and perfectly paired every time. Great for a romantic night out or special dinner with friends. For a less formal dinner and a lighter hit to your wallet, be sure to order the "Tavern Burger"! My husband & I can split it and still be full.

I have had the pleasure of dining at the Vintage Tavern a few times and each time I say the same thing, "This is the best I've ever tasted". The food is prepared and presented perfectly. It's always delicious and beautifully plated. The service is excellent, the wait staff is friendly and makes us feel like we're their favorite customers. I have eaten in restaurants all over the country and this is my favorite restaurant of all times. The seasonal vegetables are fresh and cooked to perfection. I live with a gourmet cook and have 3 sons that are as well, so I am hard to please and appreciate good food. I'm looking forward to my next meal at the Vintage Tavern. Almost time to light the fire!

We've been regulars at Vintage Tavern since they first opened. The menu changes regularly due to the fact that the chef focuses on locally grown food as suplements to the menu.

The wine selection is second to none.

Reservations are a must and make sure you request a table by the fire in the winter months.

The restaurant also has blankets on reserve so you can have your coffee and desert out back next to the fire pit.

The Vintage Tavern is a guaranteed wonderful evening from appetizer to after dinner drinks.

Vintage Tavern does not serve the most creative food in the area. Vintage Tavern does not push the boundaries of culinary whimsy. Vintage Tavern does not disappoint.

This place serves very well executed classic "local" fare. Flounder over spoon bread. A seafood muddle. A decent crab cake. Nothing earth shattering - but it never, ever misses its mark.

One note of constructive criticism..... Chef, please watch those oysters in the fryer. Mine had been fried so long and hard that nothing - and I do mean nothing - but breading remained of most. The oysters simply evaporated. A disappointment.

Deserts are old favorites - banana pudding anyone? They are well executed and are consistent with the overall theme and feel of this place.

Service is consistently friendly and attentive.
