We came here for an overnight stay on a Friday night to visit some breweries in the area. The decor is nicely done and very modern - in the common areas as well as the rooms. Our room was clean and spacious, and had a mini-frig and microwave (studio suite.) Parking was free and plentiful. We enjoyed the breakfast - the omelette station was there as well as scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes, cereal, toast, fruit and many other things. The coffee, tea and water offered in the lobby is a nice touch. I like the Hyatt House brand and this is another good one.

Breakfast omelette was being made by rushed cleaning staff at buffet forget about anything to do with a “chef”.

Rooms are probably like a motel, old bathroom tubs and toilet with water clogging. In serious need of updates. Disappointed with the hyatt house concept. Hilton delivers better.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I apologize you felt the facilities were sub par, but I'd like to ask if you're sure it was the Hyatt House STERLING that you stayed in. We believe you may be confusing our hotel with the Hyatt House HERNDON very close to us, also in the Northern Virginia area. We at the Hyatt House Sterling went through a soft upgrade of the facilities in the early months of 2017. I'd kindly request you check the reservation you made to confirm the hotel your reservation was at. Stayed there for one day but was truly impressed by the hospitality of the folks at the hotel.

By mistake I went to the Hyatt Place after i landed (the names of both are very similar), but the front desk folks really knew how to engage with a guest & made sure that i got the right address for this hotel, even offered to drive me to the hotel.

The same high levels of service was at display at Hyatt House. Kudos to Hyatt for delivering stellar service across properties.

Having said that the hotel rooms temperature control was not top notch and took a long time to get to the desired temp.

But considering the super service, this is a glitch that did not bother me much. Hence the 5 star.

I had business in the Dulles area and needed a place to stay at short notice. I had not stayed at a Hyatt prior. It ended up as a pleasant stay though it was a business trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel had a Resturant with a limited menu. The food was great and I did not have to go out. One night I had some noisy neighbors but the staff addresses it quickly. It was clean and seemed recently remodeled.

We stayed here for a lacrosse tournament. Check in/check out was a breeze. Despite the large number of crazy hockey and lax players staying here for tournaments, the hotel was quiet. The hotel put up a sign at reception stating that running/sports in the halls would not be tolerated (THANK YOU!!!!). The beds were comfortable - we all slept well. Breakfast was good, too, with lots of kid-friendly choices. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
