Been coming here for almost two decades. The trails are well maintained and so are the facilities. Excellent educational houses. My nephews love this place. The water level is decreasing, but there is no shortage of wild life. Listening to the sound of frogs, watching geese, fishing, walking within feet of deer, owls, turtles and other critters is amazing. Go during each season and there is always something new; Like peacocks or a bridge. Trails range from about .25 to 5 miles and are mostly flat with small hills. Easy for kids. Good 4th of July celebrations here draw crowds; otherwise modest groups. Never had trouble finding parking. Next door is the recreation center. Across the street is Sportrock and car racing, so no shortage of fun here.
