We sat outside on a beautiful night. One side of the patio was tables, while the other had a bar and bean bag toss setup which seemed a bit out of place. We started with Jalapeño Popper roll, which was interesting. Spicy, but not tradtionally japanese flavor because of the jalepeno. I had the Miso-glazed Sea Bass, which was very nice. Not at all fishy, and cooked just right. The glaze was flavorful but not overpowering. My date had the Wasabi-crusted Ahi Tuna, which was really good. It came on a hot rock, so she could cook it as much as she wanted. Personally, I would have taken it off as soon as it got to the table, but she cooked it to just the amount she wanted. It was sushi-grade tuna with no stringiness or sinew. Very tender and moist.
Overall, a pretty decent beer and wine selection. Much improved from when we were there for our first date over a year ago..
We'll definitey be back.
