The positives of Staunton Coffee and Tea are the comfortable seating, reasonable prices, ice water and glasses for guests, and cordial staff. However, the coffee (I ordered an expresso based grind) was very weak. Expresso grinds should be dark and robust; this tasted like a weak cup of regular Columbian. The background music was so loud that I had to wear earplugs to read, and the area with the cream was not well kept up--sticky, and the ice keeping the half and half cool was almost melted. I would invite them to try the same grind at Lexington Roasters to get a sense of the proper strength for this coffee. If the management responds that they will address these issues, I would consider a second try; otherwise I don't plan to return.
