We feature homemade soups, sauces and dressings made from the finest ingredients, with hand cut steaks, fresh seafood, garden salads and the best barbeque ribs in the Valley.Full Gluten free menu avaliable as well as Vegeterian items. We balance good quality food with fast, fun, efficient service. All served in the cozy confines of a turn of the century flour mill. Customers always get their money's worth at Mill Street Grill. From our opening 1992, our goal has been to be the most consistent restaurant in the area, and our large numbers of regular customers prove that we have succeeded. Live music was a bonus feature to our Wednesday evening dinner experience. Prepare for it to be fairly loud, but enjoyable.

For many years, we very much enjoyed eating at the Mill Street Grill, but lately the food quality has gone from superb to just average. It has become hit or miss, and we really do miss what used to be spectacular meals. The ingredients aren't as fresh, and there just doesn't seem to be the same love put into the food preparation. It's a lovely atmosphere, great location and menu, they just need to get back to what they used to do very well--provide great tasting food every time.

We were traveling to Staunton, VA for a family reunion and stayed up the street at the Hampton Inn in Staunton. We arrived about 7pm and were looking for a place to eat dinner. One of the kids and I are Gluten Intolerant and this was one of the first trips we'd taken since discovering that, so I was a little nervous. We happened to bump in to one of the hotel staff on our way to the elevator who asked us if we decided where we wanted to go. We thought we would just go across the street to a chain restaurant because I knew they could deal with the food allergy. However, after talking with her, she changed our minds to try the Mill Street Grill. Let me tell you...they were AWESOME! We weren't really sure what to expect, but for being so late I was surprised by the crowds. It inly took about 10 minutes for our family of four to be seated. They had the most choises that I'd ever seen on a Gluten Free menu...and the food was out of this world! Can't wait to go back, I only wish we lived closer!

While in Staunton for a night, we ate dinner here and were so glad we chose this restaurant! The ribs (baby back) were incredibly tender, moist, and flavorful! The prices are very good, too. We had a side of slaw (good) and one of us had fries, the other a baked potato. We did not care for the pumpkin butter or the tri-colored bread (too fluffy and not substantial enough). We ordered a very reasonably priced bottle of red wine. While we ate, a trio played jazz. Nice!

Haven't had Sangria since sometime in the 70s. Tried it tonight at The Mill Street. They make their own and it was excellent!! Also the food was great as always.
