A local merchant suggested that our group might be interested in looking at this church with is breath-taking windows and impressive organ. He was quite right. There was no tour but a very informative booklet which talked about the windows and the history of this Episcopal Church. We enjoyed touring the grounds and building on our own as well as spending a peaceful hour in the nave of the church.

This was a nice way to fill 30-45 minute during our trip to Staunton. Beautiful architecture, inside and out, very detailed stained glass windows (some made by Tiffany) and wonderful wood carving around the organ (installed in year 2000).

On of the most beautiful churches in the downtown Staunton. Lovely little courtyard in the back to sit and meditate. The magnificent Tiffany stained windows take your breath. Check out the history of this lovely find in Staunton, Virginia.

On Saturday morning the Historic Staunton Foundation gives a free walking tour of the town. We were lucky that along our tour, Ray, our guide had the keys to Trinity Church. We had wanted to see the inside - but it is not open to visitors on Saturday. We were delighted we he opened the doors and we walked inside. There are 12 Tiffany stained glass windows and we were able to tell the difference right away. The Tiffany windows were unbelievable!! We also walked up the stairs to see the pipe organ up close. What a treat.
