“So-So”

Lots of traffic noise with cars inside the park and on Route 250. Lots of chain-link fencing makes it look like a city park in a metropolitan area. Not very relaxing.

“Gorgeous park for the whole family.”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Gypsy Hill Park has playgrounds, a duck pond (bird food to buy), a small train for rides during the summer, a swimming pool (again open in summer), a paved mile-long oval walkway, horseshoe pits, picnic tables, fitness stations, baseball fields and a small golf course. In the summer there are free band concerts at the gazebo (bring chairs). This is a great place to bring the kids and enjoy a day in pleasant, safe, scenic surroundings. Fees for the train and/or the pool are very reasonable. There is a bathhouse for changing. Dogs are allowed, bring baggies to clean up after your pet.

Loved listening to the community band play - good clean, old fashioned fun for free - America needs more community activities like this

“Concert in the park”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

It's a beautiful park that sponsors concerts free to the public. Well taken care of. I didn't fine anything to dislike.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

There are so many great activities at Gypsy Hill Park, I love feeding the fish at the pond, or walking around on the golf course or on the track or watching concerts at the Gazebo, there is ALWAYS something to do. And Jimmy Anderson's Casual Gourmet is just north of the park and they have very healthy delicious food!
