“Beautiful park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2012

Growing up in Staunton, my family and I frequented this park a lot. My favorite part was always the duck pond where you can now buy food to feed the ducks. There are lots of baseball fields, a small train for kids to ride, a pool, several playgrounds, a small lake, and a skate park. There is always lots to do and it's well kept.

“Always Love Gypsy Hill Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2012

We visited this park once again during the warm summer months of 2012. This park has much to offer and is large enough to get lost in, if that's your wish. The area we frequented had a large fountain in a nice body of water with waterfowl everywhere! A great place to relax, nap, read, walk the dog (on a leash of course), enjoy a picnic, or just take an afternoon stroll, this park is tops on our list.

“Best Park in the World!”

Okay, maaaybe that's an exaggeration, but this park's huge trees, rolling hills, and many activities make it my favorite public park in the world!

“Christmas Lights”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

Gypsy Hill Park is well worth a drive through during December. The community groups have a variety of Lighted Christmas displays set up throughout this large park. It is well worth taking the family for an evening drive through. The field of dear/deer was especially touching.

“Something for everyone”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2012

Children adore the little train, which runs on the weekends in warm weather. Duck pond. Evening music, jazz Thursday nights. Great picnic spot, great playgrounds. We are fortunate to have such a great park.
