The museum has done an excellent job acquiring artifacts from Woodrow Wilson's era. The home where he was born and lived less than 3 years is restored very nicely and the tour was very informative. The total tour can be done in about 1 hour...parking is somewhat of a problem especially if you have difficulty with hills. Overall, it was worth a visit.

Several buildings located on the same street. One is the gift shop/tour beginning location. One is the home where Wilson was born, one is a museum dedicated to his life, and another is the library, which is only open by appointment. Enjoyed learning more about this WW1 president and his personal and political life.

I wasn't even aware that the Woodrow Wilson Library was in Staunton until I saw the signs on the edge of town. I am glad I got the opportunity to take the tour. It is clear that the staff is dedicated and they were very informative.

If you have visited modern presidential libraries this is not like them. This library does not receive any government funding and is much smaller. That being said it is well worth the visit.

Admission, here, includes the museum and a tour of the house where Wilson was born. As Wilson only lived there the first year of his life, we found the house tour somewhat disappointing as it was more about his parents than about him. We felt that the museum was more in honor of Wilson as a hometown hero than an indepth study of the accomplishments of his presidency. The WWI section is interesting but it was quite a bit smaller than we had expected. Having been to several other Presidential museums we found this one disappointing. Be aware that there is limited parking behind the museum in a fairly small parking lot and the streets are narrow as the museum is in the middle of an older town.

It was interesting but I would not go out of my way for it. I really cannot say alot about something that was just average. We must have been near closing time as the staff seemed eager to say good-bye
