Just what we had been searching for! I believe this may have a new name now but the same location. We got a big bowl of crabs and enjoyed every bite!

the food was great but the service was awesome!!! We were told when we entered that the air was not working but it was not hot at all. Our server was so kind and helpful when helping us choose what he thought was best on the menu..excellent

We had hoped they would have steamed crabs when we happened to stop by this Memorial Day weekend. I guess they mostly sell to people who order ahead of time.

So, we went with their crab cakes. I never thought to ask if they'd be fried, but they were. So .. not our cup of tea. The steamed shrimp was okay.

The staff was friendly.

We had spent two days driving up the Eastern Shore and eating crabs and wanted one more dose of crabs on our way home down I-95. Found Capt. Jack's on the internet and decided to give it a try. Theirs were the BEST, LARGEST, FRESHEST, SWEETEST crabs we found. They told us they contracted with Chesapeake fishermen to get the largest, only deep-water crabs. Even though the rest of their menu is short, they offered interesting items, and the other seafood dishes we tried were great, well-prepared. The dine-in seating is humble, just a couple tables inside and a few picnic tables outside, but that was fine with us. Evidently most patrons haul crabs home by the bushel. Capt. Jack's is less than three miles off I-95 at the Thornburg exit, kind of in the country but well worth seeking out!
