My husband and I spent two nights at the Conyers house. The pastoral setting is beautiful. We choose this B&B for its close proximity to the old rag hike in Shenandoah national park. The breakfast was delicious.

This was our first time staying at Conyers House. It was welcoming, historic, and very quaint.... lot's of collectibles and character everywhere! Slept in Grandpa's room - glad there was an AC in the bathroom window as the temps were warm. More rustic than polished, but incredibly memorable, and the surrounding countryside is not to be missed (the house is nicely off the beaten track, with pastoral scenery and varied wildlife all around)! The inn keeper, Sandra Cartwright-Brown, is also charming and full of lovely stories and anecdotes. Her breakfast was delicious and full of personality as well!

This us our second time staying here during a bicycle tour. We love the house and host. She goes out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. This is one of the best b&bs we've ever stayed in.

We just spent a most relaxing and comfortable weekend at the Conyers House and Stables. Our hostess Sandra was personable, warm and welcoming. We would have liked to ride the horses as the countryside is breathtaking but the weather did not cooperate so we poked around Sperryville's galleries, bakeries, winerys and restaurants. Not a bad way to spend a fun weekend!. The B&B was an interesting old establishment with lots of nooks and cranies. Our room was large and comfortable and breakfast was hearty and the guests we shared it with were delightful. We liked!!!

The Conyers Inn & Stable is an old historic house, with parts being built as far back as 1790. If you are looking for an old country house look and feel, this is your place. The house is littered with old photos, paintings, an abundance of chachkies and creaky floors all adding to the appeal of the house.
Miss Sandra Cartwright-Brown will make you feel right at home upon arriving at her B&B (picture attached) greeting my girlfriend I with cookies and homemade lemonade on the back-porch to enjoy a chat and view of the horses grazing in the field nearby.
We stayed in Grampie's Room (picture attached) and were very satisfied with the room and bed, getting a great nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, starting with fresh cut fruit and grapefruit juice, followed by moist homemade pancakes and juicy sausage.
Overall our stay was great with my only reason for not giving an excellent due to the steep price for 1 night of $195.

This guest will fondly be remembered for having solved a month long problem in the Old Kitchen where breakfast is served: a beeping fire alarm. So many of us have searched for it and he found it in a cabinet behind closed doors! The battery on this unused alarm was dated October 2010. No one had ever looked in the cabinet with glass doors before. Thank you, thank you. Also, they were really good sports on hearing my stink bug tutorial and consequently following my advice.
