But we agree with other reviewers a little tricky to find the first time and you better not be looking for it at night.
Our focus was on the Smithfield area and we were visiting for two nights. The Hampton Inn with our nice suite and king bed worked perfectly. The fact that the sink is separate from the toilet and shower is a nice feature and the refrig was handy for some dinner leftovers we wanted to save.
The entire hotel was clean and the breakfast typical but plentiful and nice and everything seemed fresh. The dining area was outstanding.
We had a little trouble on checking in but the very nice young lady at the front desk handled it with professionalism and.a great attitude.
We were on the second floor towards the end of the hall and our room was very quiet. I believe the hotel was full that night. The heating/ac units in the room are super loud and we couldn't hear the television with it running. Luckily the weather was mild and it didn't matter.
We enjoy this area of Virginia and would stay at the Hampton Inn again.More
