Was spending the night at the Hampton Inn airport, and saw this place here on TA so decided to stop on the way. It was crowded later on a Friday evening, but we didn't have to wait. Seated promptly, and the server was right behind. The service was great. She was efficient and friendly.
The food was quite tasty. Good meatballs, manicotti, chicken parm, and lasagne. Brushetta and rolls were spot on too. Caesar salad dressing was great, and they actually give you a nice amount of it. The portions were nice, and the price was right. The restaurant also was clean, and just seemed to run well.
The only thing that kept me giving it 5 stars was the sauce. It was by no means bad, but I've had better red sauces. The flavor of the food itself was amazing, but the sauce was just a little bland for my tastes.
Even though the sauce wasn't the most flavorful, the rest of the meal was so good that I'd still recommend this place. If you're looking for some good food/service/portions/price, I'd go. We would return if in the area and in the mood for Italian.
