“One of the best choices in the Roanoke Valley.”

This restaurant came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. I was worried when I saw comments about "quality" over "quantity" but the menu offers the combination of both. Almost every dish had a small plate or big plate choice which gives diners a lot of flexibility. I ended up having 3 small "plates" including Lobster Bisque which left plenty of room for a terrific dessert. The menu had plenty of variety and there were several specials to chose from. To top things off the wine list is remarkably affordable. My next visit to the Blue Apron cannot be soon enough.

“A Surprise Great Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2013

While making an overnight rest stop on a long car drive, we came upon the Blue Apron. Expecting to just grab a bite to eat somewhere, we were thrilled to have the experience of eating at the Blue Apron. The menu was innovative, I had a drink I had not ever known of, and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was equally excellent.

The restaurant is downtown and if you're not familiar with the town, it we passed it once before realizing where it was. Be aware, it is virtually impossible to just walk into this restaurant. Reservations are pretty much a necessary for dinner.

Outstanding restaurant, especially if you enjoy new things,

“Best in the Roanoke Valley”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

The Blue Apron is currently serving the best food and the most inventive cuisine in the entire Roanoke Valley. We usually have whatever fish is featured on the menu and it's always cooked to perfection and sauced with just the right touch. The service is excellent - but be sure and reserve early in the week; it's popularity makes it a tough reservation late in the week.

The bar is outstanding, especially the martinis, but we would like to see more options on the wine menu!

This is a location with charming atmosphere and some great food options in an old rehab store. Take a post lunch walk along the downtown streets
