We visited country Cooking In Christiansburg, Va. and in Roanoke, Va. was disappointed to find in both restaurants that you are paying more for your steaks but they take away A1 steak sauce. When i pay $10.00 for a steak I want to choose what kind of steak sauce I want. Bottom line I will not be eating at Country Cooking until they bring back A1. Wasn't worth the money. I you want to save money you better find another way to do it if you don't want to lose a lot of business. i bet you wont add this to your review page.

We liked the convenience; the price was reasonable; however the buffet food was average & not real warm.

I read some of the reviews on here and some are folks from northern states who may or may not know what good southern country cooking tastes like but this restaurant offers a variety of home cooked entrees that includes a full vegetable, salad, soup, drink and dessert bar with the meal for less than $10--the food is very tasty and cooked well. I will return to this restaurant when I am traveling in this area from NC any time it is open.

Thanks for a good decent southern country meal!!

You know exactly what to expect when you visit this buffet style restaurant. Order your meat, then hit the buffet. No alcohol is served, but the iced tea is unlimited!
