“Restaurant Like they Use to Be”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

I felt like I had stepped back in time. Friendly greeting, seated and immediately asked what we would like to drink...single meatball app was presented with assorted crackers basket. The menu had a large variety of old style favorites. We decided on steak and asked for a recommendation between two ...we choice the house steak which was 14 oz...cooked perfectly to medium for me and medium rare for my husband. Tasty but of course large portion, we had enough for a second meal to go! Came with two sides, we choice salad, which came crisp lettuce and you chose you topping from large carousel of choices served by your waitress!! How wonderful not to have a bunch of toppings on a salad you don't want. Steaming baked potato was chosen as other side...hot rolls were served with main meal! Drinks were refilled promptly! Loved this old style, old school
restaurant!

“I don't get it”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013

I did go before the new owners but the service, the food and the atmosphere were nothing astonishing, above par or worth talking about. I hope that the new owners have turned things around. Also a friend of mine worked there years ago and talked about how the old owners would make them re-use rolls, sour cream and butter. Again I hope the new owners have changed this "policy".

“Good Prime Rib”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

I tried this place, about a week ago. The food was really good, better than I had expected. The atmosphere is nice as it is a house converted into a restaurant. They bring you out two of their meatballs at the start of the meal, and are really good...you can buy them as an appetizer. The King Cut and Queen Cut are bigger ounce wise than what they say, so unless you are starving go with with the Queen. Baked Potato was kinda small compared to the size of meat, but overall nice quality. They say casual dress code, but wear at least a polo or button up. Nobody had T-shirts on...think Business Casual.

“Great Prime Rib”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

The prime rib was excellent and the service impeccable. The side dishes are above average and the prices are great. Well worth the trip if you are in the area.

“Perfect in old school way”

Nice house steak. Very sweet bartender catered to me even though I arrived latish. She made the experience, as well as a nice Martini
