Beautiful Hotel, if you park your own car, do it in the daytime, no lights walking up to the entrance, kinda scary. My room was comfortable but the trash of old used coffee creamers were still in the area the coffee was kept., water was not really hot to take shower but over all it was good, but not for the money I paid.

First time here. Great location. Great service with friendly employees. Our meeting rooms were set up to the style we requested. Sleeping rooms were very nice. Would request a refrigerator and microwave.

Not sure what the hype is about for the hotel. My husband and I stayed for one night while visiting our son and it was not that great. First, the bathtub was clogged and did not drain at all. Second, there were long black hairs in the tub, I have short brown hair and my husband has gray hair. Third, the fitted sheet on one of the beds was on inside out and had a tear in it. The bathroom was not that clean. And lastly, someone kept slamming doors starting at 7:00 am waking us up.

If you decide to stay here regardless of this review, ask for a room opposite the railroad tracks. Although the trains did not wake us up, they are noisy.

For another $20 you can stay at Cambria suites and parking is free. Our son told us to stay there because it was nicer. Guess we should have listened.

I grew up in Blacksburg and I remember how cool this hotel looked when I was in college, so 30'years later I had a chance to stay here after attending a funeral. Really neat place, very well kept, nice people. Hope I can come back. It's a really interesting property.

This was the fourth time we had visited Hotel Roanoke, a Hilton hotel. The staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly. This property is also in easy walking distance to downtown Roanoke, which is a Plus !

We have stayed at the Hotel Roanoke on and off for the last 20 years. It's a bit of elegance from days gone by yet modern enough that it doesn't feel dated. The Pine Room is a great place to grab a drink and play some pool and The Pine Room has WONDERFUL breakfasts and dinners. Truly a special place in Roanoke and there's nothing else like it there. Plus it's a member of the Hilton family of hotels so you can get hotel points, etc. If you have a really special occasion, check out the Miss Virginia Suite - wow wow wow. Along the halls there are old pictures of what the hotel looked like when it was built in the late 1800's. Oh and downtown Roanoke is just a short walk away with so many great restaurant options. There are rooms with the Cathedral view and rooms with a downtown view - both are great. Even if you don't stay here, allow some time to go visit the hotel, just for the experience. One of my favorite hotels in the US!

Room Tip: Ask the front desk for a jumbo room which is much larger than a regular room for the same price.
