I have been to this Macado's several times and the food is always good. The service is normally great as well, unless you get the bartender who is normally to busy to be a good waitress as well....Overall great place, love their soups, salads, and any turkey sandwiches...and here is a tip, if you order a side of French onion dip you can dip your chips in it which is very yummy!

Went for family celebration, orders were taken quickly and drinks came right away, but food was a little slow on delivery. Quite busy and a little loud, bu all in all a great place and the food was excellent.

We ate at Macado's on October 5, 2013 while staying at the Holiday Inn - a couple of blocks away. The reuben sandwich was excellent and I highly recommend it. We ate outside and enjoyed very nice atmosphere. The downside is that the service was very poor and slow. Our food did not arrive at the same time - 10 minutes apart, and we had to ask for utensils. Our drink orders and refills were very slow coming. Our requests for ketchup, salt, ranch dip (for celery sticks) and utensils were wrong several times. On the upside, we found our dilemma to be comically entertaining. I would not recommend this restaurant for anybody who may be hungry, but if you aren't in a hurry and like reuben sandwiches, then you would enjoy Macado's.

Macado's is more or less an upscale sandwich spot. They do have a fair variety of entrees but their sandwich selection is huge and covers every appetite. The starters are nothing terribly exciting, but good all the same. We eat their about once a month and I recently tried one of their angus burgers for the first time. As with most other things on the menu, it didn't disappoint. A half pound burger made fresh that was LITERALLY too big to get my mouth around. One of the best burgers I've had. It came with crinkle fries were nothing special but cooked well. Service wise, they are better than average. Your drinks stay full and you will get everything you need in a timely manner. Atmosphere is like appleb**s but with more of a focus on local stuff. We prefer the Electric road location, it's a little less cramped than some and has adequate parking, but honestly they are all pretty equal in quality. Worth a trip!
