We had not planned to stop in Roanoke but glad we did. The reservation was made the day before and Jim could not have been anymore helpful with the process. We were concerned about noise, there was none, very quite area yet handy to the city. We walked to a great local restaurant that was reasonably priced, a place where the 'locals' go. The bed was so comfy! Evening conversation with other guests was pleasant. Lynn and Jim were gracious but not over bearing.
BTW, we are retired innkeepers who have owned two inns in Maine (Kennebunkport).
