“Great scenery makes everything taste better!”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

Have I had better soft crab sandwiches before? Possibly - but I forgot about all the others I've had because this one was an awesome combination of perfectly cooked soft crab, hot fries, cold beer, and a beautiful view across Cockrell's Creek to Reedville. If you're not a local - you'll have to go off the beaten path to find this little gem of a deli - but it will be worth it - especially if the weather's nice (the indoor seating is quite limited - but the outdoor seating at picnic tables or Adirondack chairs is lovely). The staff are incredibly friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Worth the trip!

“Fresh seafood to take home and cook”
Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

We prefer to buy our own fresh seafood and cook it at home when on vacation. We got steamed crabs, which were excellent, and we also got raw scallops and shrimp. All of the seafood was very fresh. The prices seemed a little high, but all seafood is lately, and I'm wrinkling to pay for quality. As we waited for the crabs, I looked in the seafood case. The crab cakes seems to have a lot of filler, which is not for me. That being said, I did not try them. There were picnic tables outside right on the water and that seemed like a great place to eat lunch.

“Very disappointing crabcake”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

My husband and I stopped in for lunch one afternoon. Thinking it is a seafood market we were expecting an above average crabcake. Not so. Actually one of the worst crabcakes I've ever had. Very little crab, lots of filler, no flavor. Nice to sit on the one picnic table that had an umbrella. The staff friendly and brought lunch out to us. Too bad, could be a nice little spot.

“Great fresh fish”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

Get the flounder sandwich, the shrimp or the oysters. They also sell fresh seafood. Counter service but they have cold beer and you can eat outside on a picnic table.

“Awesome Fresh!”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

We visited on a very chilly afternoon, but thank goodness it was nice and cozy and warm inside. There were outdoor picnic tables available overlooking the water, but it was way too cold and windy on this day. We had their cold salad plates, including shrimp and crabmeat. It was amazingly delicious. Their prices seemed on the high side, but the food was very fresh, you get what you pay for. If their prices were a little lower, we would have returned during our visit to Reedville. The narrow road in and out are very scenic as well. Surrounded by water on both sides, we saw a deer running close by the road.
