“Great little place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

We stopped here for dinner on our way to the Great Smokey Mountains, we weren't too familiar with Central American food, but the staff explained everything very well to us. The seating area was small and simple, but the food was incredible. The portions were more than plentiful and the prices very low. For the price, this was probably the best food I've eaten.

“Wonderful inexpensive authentic food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

Stopped here after a day on the lake and wasn't disappointed. Small dining area and menu with excellent food! The fried plantains are awesome as well as the Quesadilla with fresh pico. They even bring in specialty desserts & pastries all for just a buck. Will come here again for sure.

“Wonderful & authentic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

Stopped over here after spending the day boating on Claytor Lake. Small place about 5 tables or so. We were starving and this place came through! The chicken Quesadilla had the best tortilla and not too much spice. My husband said the pork was spicy and wonderful. We also had some fried plantains that were melt in your mouth! Will definitely come here again! Price was cheap and don't forget to check out the massuve authentic desserts they sell next to the counter as well as the imported Pineapple Fanta to drink. Yummy!

“Nice change of pace”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

I drove by this place and thought I would stop in for lunch one day. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very welcoming and eager to explain what they had to offer. They specialize in dishes from Central America and it is a little different from what American's think of as Latino food. I had there signature dish, wish is sort of like a tamale but really more like a meat filled masa pancake with spices that were different. Delicious. Paired with a side dish of fried plantains, it was a fine meal.
