The food is delicious, the service is outstanding and they have a wonderful selection of wines by the glass or bottle.

Decided to stop here for lunch while doing some Northern Virginia Wine Tasting. The Trip Advisor address was wrong so our GPS couldn't find it. The correct address is 130 Purcellville Gateway Drive. It is in the shopping center near the intersection of Main Street and Berlin Turnpike in the same place as the Harris Teeter Supermarket. Phone is 540-751-9919 if you get lost.

Service was good and the selection interesting. They have wines by the bottle and glass, but only served 3 virginia wines by the glass, even though they are in in the heart of VA wine country. Shame!!!

We had the Charcuterie ($11) which consisted of salmon, an interesting hummus and country ham. We both tried their take on Paella ($24) which is served in a cast iron plate and has spicy smoked sausage, mussels, groper cheeks and saffron rice. It was very tasty and the portion is large. My spouse had the Chocolate Fudge Pie ($8) and said it was delightful.

The food is locally sourced and well prepared. My only complaint was that it is pretty pricy and I really didn't expect to spend over $100 plus a tip for lunch and 3 glasses of wine. It was pretty good, but sort of lacking on the "value" scale. That said, we might try it again and choose something less expensive on the menu which has several $10-$16 lunch entries.

Definitely worth a try.

My family and I had dinner this evening at The Wine Kitchen in Purcellville. The food was wonderful and it is great that they use local produce. We had fried green tomatoes, fried avocado and devilled eggs as appetizers with paella and a steak to follow. The opportunity to try a flight of three wines is great and they also offer the opportunity to purchase a bottle of any of the wines you sample, to take home. The service was friendly and prompt. All in all - a great meal.

I have been a big fan of the Wine Kitchen in Leesburg and am very excited that the Wine Kitchen opened closer to home in Purcellville. I have visited many times since the opening and have tried most of the menu, not a bad meal in the bunch. Great place if you are solo at the bar or with friends at a table. great, fresh food, good wine selections and, wonderful friendly service.

We have gone to the WK in Leesburg and Frederick; and this is my favorite. We went there for lunch yesterday and shared several dishes. The fried avocado was EXCELLENT, tomato pie (like a quiche) was also good, and we shared the squash gratin and the shrimp 'dumplings' which were really gnocchi. All very good. Nice wine selections. Nice atmosphere - will be better when they add some outdoor seating.
