“stunning beauty”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Good wine. Great service. Very romantic!! I highly recommend this winery, which is only 1 hr from Washington, DC. Large service area, so don't be discouraged by the large crowds that visit this winery. It is very efficient but also relaxing.

“Great winery to visit on a sunny afternoon”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

This is one of our favorite wineries to visit in the area. They have an excellent (large) tasting room with an outside deck. It is of Amish construction and it really is a beautiful building. It has two floors and the upstairs is a great spot for enjoying wine and music during inclement weather. if the weather is fine they use the outdoor patio which can be a liveky and fun place. There are spots outside to picnic should that be your choice.

The food is simple fare that you expect to find at wineries. Cheese, hams, bread etc but it does compliment the excellent wines.

Overall a great place to spend some time while touring in the area.

“beautiful facility”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Beautiful facility, music on weekends, relaxing atmosphere. Pay at the door (not at the bar) for your tasting and they give you a glass, which is different than most NOVA wineries. The glass does not come with the tasting fee. Wines are okay (not my fav) but the place is worth a visit for the ambiance.

“Love Sunset Hills!!”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

Amazing surroundings, knowledgable staff and great wine. Sunset Hills is a relaxing place to breath some fresh air, drink some wine and listen to some music in true Western Loudoun style.

“Beautiful Vineyard Worth a Visit”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

I recently went to Sunset Hills vineyard for wine tasting. The wine tasting is held at the bar and you get to taste 6-7 different types of wine they make at their vineyard. Afterward, you are welcome to buy some of their bread, cheese, wine and picnic on their grounds. They have outdoor seating which overlooks their vineyard as well as seating inside their quaint barn. I highly recommend. The vineyard was very charming. The only thing i should note is that they tend to be pretty busy, so you may have to wait 5 to 10 minutes before you are allowed to do a wine tasting.
